68. To knowledge, wisdom is added; prudence gives birth to passionlessness. Γνώσει προστίθεται σοφία, ἀπάθειαν δὲ τίκτει φρόνησις. M 68 is the third proverb in a row to mention passionlessness, and it also introduces the important couplet virtues of wisdom and prudence.
